Happy New Year! I am happy that 2020 is officially behind us. I hope things go up from here.
My reading month wasn’t big in the end. I had quite an ambitious tbr and as predicted, I didn’t come close! I don’t mind, since I needed a break from all the reading. I ended the year with 108 books read which is over 3x more my normal reading year. Thanks lockdown?
- How to Fail at Flirting by Denise Williams – ★★★★☆
- The Spark by Jules Wake – ★★☆☆☆
- Mercies by Anne Sexton – ★★★★★
- Bunny by Orion Mona Awad – ★★★★★
- Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte – ★★★★☆
I read a total of 5 books with an average rating of 4/5 stars. I am quite satisfied with my reading month overall. It was quite busy for me because of the holidays and prepping for 2021. The biggest stand out was Bunny. It was so dark and addicting! I also FINALLY read Wuthering Heights and what a delicious mess it was. I also really enjoyed How to Fail at Flirting and you can read more of my thoughts here. How was your reading month? Any new favorites?
This is by far the best reading year I ever had! This might be due to me finally joining the online bookish community and Netgalley! I read a lot of amazing arcs and made a lot of lovely bookish friends. Please comment some of your favorite book bloggers, booktubers, bookstagrammers below!
